Defending Criminal Confiscation Proceedings

The seminar aimed at POCA practitioners defending in confiscation proceedings was held in person on Thursday, 14 May 2026, at 5SAH's chambers.

The session was presented by:

• Barnaby Hone & Rebecca Thomas - 5 St Andrew's Hill, Barristers specialising in Proceeds of Crime

Areas that were looked at included:

• Criminal benefit

• Hidden asset cases &

• Calculating the benefit in CV fraud cases

The seminar ended with a chance to socialise over a glass of wine and "posh" pizzas!
